CCI Sisterhood is the collective voice and presence of women in temple life in Athens, Georgia. We are a member of Women of Reform Judaism, an affiliate of the Union for Reform Judaism. Stronger together, we support the ideals and enhance the quality of Jewish living at Congregation Children of Israel to ensure the future of progressive Judaism in our community, in North America, in Israel and around the world.We have over seventy members and get together throughout the year at educational programs, workshops, holiday events, service days, book discussions and other events. Through our social events, we raise funds for CCI and support charitable and cultural organizations. Recent recipients of our tzedakah have included: Food 2 Kids, Project Safe, and PJ Library.
